REH 110: Case Study
I had the opportunity to interview someone who was legally blind. This assignment gave me a new perspective on living with a disability and the obstacles that arise during daily living.

Spending time in a wheelchair forced me to experience daily activities in a new way. This opportunity exposed me to significant accessibility issues in the community.

This assignment allowed me to think creatively about how to make daily activities for someone with a disability easier. I enjoyed the challenge to create.

Taping a counseling session was out of my comfort zone, but allowed me to gain experience of working with someone on an individual level.

I enjoyed case noting after each video session, as it gave me the opportunity to practice this skill while debriefing the session.
REH 305: Group Co-Lead Plan
I was nervous to lead a group process session but really enjoyed the experience. I feel more comfortable leading groups and taking part in groups.
REH 305: Individual Group Plan
This assignment pushed me to develop a group session for a specific population and develop engaging activities.
REH 310: Resource Directory
This assignment was a great learning opportunity to expand my knowledge about important resources in the community.
REH 310: Intake
The intake process is overwhelming but I enjoyed the opportunity to become familiar with real field work paperwork.
REH 120: Social Problems Paper
I chose a paper I wrote for my Social Work class that opened my eyes to the struggle of working with different cultures. It expanded my thinking of how to help.
